Latshofoon ele ana shefta L .. she was literally bleeding everywhere! She was cradling her arm.. her arm was swollen.. it looked broken.. BOTH her eyes were blue and black all over and swollen.. poor thing couldn’t even open her eyes men kether ma they are swollen.. and her jaw was swollen too.. She wouldn’t stop crying! She couldn’t even open her mouth to drink water..
What shocked me isn’t that this poor thing was BRUTALLY beaten! What shocked me was that some people were actually asking “Shsawat?! Akeed emsawya shay!”

I am beyond sad. Where has their basic human rights gone? Just because their visa is on you DOES NOT give you any permission to control every aspect of their lives. They are NOT slaves! They are working for a living. 7alhom men 7alkom! Except that they were born under unfortunate conditions where they HAD to work as servants.
Ba6een chabdi. I wanted so bad to walk up to their door, ring the bell and give her a piece of my mind! 3ami kan na6erhom bara.. egool chan zain ye6le3oon..
How can someone be so cruel?! Using a human being as their own punching bag!

7asbi allah 3alaihum.. Nas ma3ndaha la thimma wala themeer!! wele ba6 chabde ena they WILL get away with it. they always do. its very sad.
I took a picture of her as evidence from all angles. I am going to send it to the embassy to help them with her case. I refuse to believe that these ANIMALS are going to get away with it. And I am going to follow up on her story to make sure they don’t.
P.s. I would put up a picture of her to show u the brutality she was put through but I cannot violate her privacy like that.

What if she raped one of her children? What if she had beaten one of them so bad.. I'm not saying what she did is ok or by any means acceptable but still you shouldn't judge.. U don't know the whole story.
P.S a few months ago we had a 7 yo girl admitted for she begged us not to take her back home and bring her younger brothers to stay with her at the hospital.which was suspicious.. Hours later we found out that the maid was sexually abusing them and the girl was raped by the driver twice!! and she threatened them if they told anyone she'd burn their younger brother who was only 8 months old!
The girl is going to need long extensive therapy and god
knows if shell ever be normal again.. When we asked the maid why? She said she was getting back to the mother and she wasn't even sorry or regretted what she did

I cannot describe in words my feelings about this brutal story.
Do you like reading? If you do, i highly recommend a book (which you probably read or heard about) called The Help by Kathryn Stockett. it's a bestseller now. And it is the best text i have ever read in more than 6 years. at some points of the story, i actually cried, and sometimes laughed. You will love each character.
besides being written very well, what interested me most was how the story of those black servants who were serving white women are not very different from the maids we have in Kuwait and not very different from how kuwaiti people treat servants. Once you notice the many similarities, you won't be able to stop reading.
It's sad. The situation of maids in Kuwait is sad. I cannot (esp after reading The Help) find many differences between the lives of slaves and the lives of maids in kuwait.
Once I was going out of home heading towards my car, and our neighbor's helper looked at me and pointed at her mouth and tummy, telling me that she's hungry. I have heard a lot about our neighbors and how they dont' feed their helpers well. But when i saw her doing that with my own eyes, ...i don't know what to say
